Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If someone is takes an offer of 16yrs without life for aggrevated mayhem then two weeks or so later is granted a appeal for motion to self represent to try to get less time, would that offer still be an option if that person ends up loosing?

Of course not. You reject the offer, you PO the DA and you go to trial with all its risks.
