Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My tenant grows marijuana in his 2 bedroom apartment ,when approached he says he is allowed to grow 2 plants in Los Angeles,CA. How do i handle my tenant and what is my next step.?

Your tenant, and you, bear some risk of federal criminal charges for allowing the plants [growing]. The feds do not recognize the tenant's PC 'get out of jail free card', and you don't even have one. How likely are they to come in contact, or to charge you or your tenant? Your guess is as good as anyone's. He is violating at least federal law, which you could treat as a 'risk' under your lease, justifying a 3-day notice or an eviction. The choice is yours.
