You can hire an attorney to make a motion to terminate probation early and then you can go through a process to expunge that conviction from your record. The court decides to grant that motion or deny it. Wish you the best.
Re: termanating probation
I recently had a client's probation terminated after only a couple of months of probation because I had the Navy recruiter come to court, and the prosecutor was sympathetic to my client. The judge granted the motion once he learned that the prosecutor was in favor of terminating probation after speaking with the Navy recruiter. If you'd like to discuss this further, please don't hesitate to contact me. Good luck. Steve Mandell
Re: termanating probation
Yes it is possible to terminate Informal Probation early. You can generally terminate probation by making a motion to the court for termination of probation. Once probation is terminated you could then Petition the court to expunge your criminal record and although it does not completely disappear it is considered for some purposes to have never occurred. You can also, after completing at least half of your probation, petition the court to expunge your record and if granted that would also result in termination of probation.
You have some options available to you. I suggest you speak with an attorney and get some specific legal advice regarding your specific situation. Generally initial consultations are not expensive and you may find an attorney who does not charge for the initial consultation at all. Since, you have a specific purpose for terminating your probation it would be worth the cost to hire an attorney. It will take much less time and it will be done right the first time. Good luck

Yes, you may be able to get the court to grant a motion for early termination, for good cause. If serious about doing so, feel free to contact me.
