my question is how much time will you get if you receive stolen property over $5000?

None, unless you get caught. If you get caught, depends on what the evidence is and whether you have a good lawyer, and what your prior record is, and whether you stole the captain's bowling trophy. In general receiving stolen property over $5000 is a felony in California and unlucky offenders can expect a stretch in state prison.
