Help will come by hiring a criminal defense attorney in your local area. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me.

Set up a confidential consultation with an attorney in your area. Call and make sure the consultation is free and ask to schedule an appointment. You might want to meet with more than one attorney before you decide on who you retain. Help is out there...you just need to take the first step!

I agree with the attorneys that directed you to a qualified criminal defense attorney in or near your area. Most criminal defense attorneys give FREE CONSULTATIONS. You may want to find a Former Deputy District Attorney with at least 10 to 15 years of experience. I wish you well........... David Wallin

I may be late to add to this mix, but you've heard it several different ways, all saying essentially the same thing.

If you're accused of a crime, whether you did something wrong or especially if you are wrongfully accused, that is where the services of a good criminal defense attorney come into play. If the case has not been filed yet, your attorney may be able to intervene and prevent the filing of charges. If they have been filed, they can present your side - either to the prosecutor to persuade them to drop the case or to a jury if it goes that far.

Time to find an attorney.
