unable to make court due to deployment to iraq
I was given a court date for a drunk in public. however i am unable to make that court date due to the fact that i am in the millitary and am deploying in the next three weeks. what do i do.

Go the the court on an earlier date and request the case be heard that day. You should consider having an attorney help you.

You'll have to call the court and seek a continuance. Or, go the court before your hearing date and bring your citation to the clerk's office. Tell the clerk you want to continue the hearing until you return. Good Luck

Where is your courtdate? Which courthouse? It depends on the courthouse, but the procedures are similar.
