Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Unfair Sentencing?

I recently pled guilty of public intoxication and distrubing(i.e. resisting) arrest in Napa, CA and sentenced to 48 hours of work at Goodwill, $140 fine and given a two year probational period, though I dont have to report to an officer. I am comfortable with the fine, but feel the hours of ''community service'' are extreme and that the 2yr probation period un-necessary. What can I do to get the probation revoked?

Probably nothing. Buyer's remorse is not grounds for modifying a sentence.

Did you have a lawyer, or did you enter this plea on your own? It's possible that the court made a procedural mistake when it took your plea and/or when it sentenced you, but that isn't likely. Your question gives no reason to think the court did anything wrong.

Nothing. You agreed to it. You don't get 'do overs' in court or life.
