unlawful arrest
i called 911, i ask for medical attention for a man that had been beaten, they sent the police, the beaten man was arrested for assault. the beaten man became mouthy to the police he was then booked for interfering with a officers duties he aso told the beater who wasnt arrested that he'd get him. does this injured man have any defence

Depends upon the provable facts and admissible evidence that could be used in his defense. Whatever 'advice' he may get from this site is of no value other than educational. He can't just waive a print out at the courthouse. He needs counsel to defend the criminal charges. Feel free to have him contact me if serious about doing so, and if the case is in SoCal courts. If he can't afford private counsel, he needs to apply for public defender.

Unfortunately without having all the facts it will be dificult to provide you with an intelligent answer. It appears that the alleged victim may have acted in self defense. The he would get him outburst doesnt help his case. He needs an attorney.
