Yes. It's a misdemeanor and has a minimum of 5 days in custody and a maximum of 90 days, plus a minimum fine of $145 and a maximum fine of $1,000.
It can greatly impact your license with the DMV as well. If you're charged with reckless driving, you should consult with a criminal defense attorney in the county where you were cited.
