Re: violation of informal probation

You face the potential for whatever jail and/or fines were sentenced and suspended in the DUI case. Get counsel if you want to try to stay out of jail. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.

Re: violation of informal probation

Your new case and the probation violation are two separate matters. The best way to deal with the new case will be to resolve it as quickly as possible so that probation violation never comes up. Because the two cases are in different counties, it is quite possible that LA Court will never learn of the new case as they will not be automatically notified. However, it is possible that the DA in Orange County could notify them if they so choose.

Get a good lawyer with good diplomatic skills so that your OC case resolves without the knowledge of the LA Court.

Re: violation of informal probation

If your case gets pulled in LA, it is possible the judge could revoke your probation, and give you 90 days in jail pursuant to a non-probation maximum penalty.

You should seek an attorney familiar with your situation and get it resolved, and not count on a public defender who likely has too many cases.

If you would like to discuss this further with an attorney who will fight for you, and will care about your situation, please call me at your earliest convenience.
