Thank you for your inquiry, and the opportunity to serve you by answering your question.
Driving out of restriction is the same as driving on a suspended or revoked license - the penalty is up to a fine of $1,000, and up to 180 days in jail, or both, and in most cases, that conviction might also trigger a probation violation on a DUI or other charge, which can have separate consequences, including jail time. This sentencing range is for first violators - for those with multiple offenses, as you might expect, the potential sentence can me much higher.
I hope this helps you, but if you have other questions, or want legal advice or representation, feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. It's my pleasure to assist you in any way that I can, and thanks again.

Probation violation, new misdemeanor, jail time.
Re: Violation of Restricted License
It depends on why your license was suspended. There are several statutes that cover this situation. Some require mandatory jail time. Others, only a fine. Your best bet is to hire a lawyer and talk to him/her about your issue.
