Could too much use of violent games be used as a legal defense for commiting a crime?

Nice try. Ever hear of the term 'personal responsibility'? That's what the law is based upon. It is clearly true that raising a child in an atmosphere of violence in movies, rap music, 'kill em' games, abusive parents, etc., will result in violence prone people, but that still doesn't amount to a 'defense' to a crime.
