voice recording
recently I have a conversation with a co-worker where she declare her feelings for me, but I have a voice recorder machine on me and tape it all for future protection in case things got sour, is this illegal?

Duh. If she discovers and could show you taped her without consent, she could file both state and federal criminal charges which could result in prison time. Not too smart to tell the world about it.
