Re: welfare fraud
Convictions are 'overturned' only by a timely and successful appeal. What you are seeking is an 'expungement', which means the conviction would be set aside, and the charges are retroactively dismissed, if successful. If you're serious about doing so, feel free to contact me to discuss the facts and details of the legal help you'll need.
Re: welfare fraud
Convictions are only overturned on appeal. If you were convicted of a crime and have completed all the terms of your probation and punishment, then you may qualify for expungement. This is where the offense is removed from your record. The legal effect is that you do not have to disclose the conviction on an employment application when asked. However, it may still appear in most background checks. Most criminal defense attorneys can handle this for a small fee. Feel free to call or e-mail us if you are serious about pursuing this.
