Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My wife is new in this country and was caught in a sting for serving alcohol to minor. She is a waitress in California. What is the possible penalties. Should I get a lawyer for he?

It would be best for her to consult with an attorney. If she is charged with a crime, she has the right to an attorney. If she cannot afford an attorney she can ask the court to appoint the public defender to represent her.
