Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My wife signed my name to a check that was made out to BOTH of our names. ..........for approximately $28,500.00 with out my permission or knowledge. and then kept 100% of the cash.
Is that fraud ? Is that theft ? Can I take her to court and get 50%. We have been married for 10 years...What elce can you tell me ? I have proof.. Do I need a attorney to do this. ? Meaning sue her for 50% ? Is this a criminal matter ? or family ?
