Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
will suspended license due to failures to appear show up on criminal background check?

The key fact here is why is the license suspended, FTA on what? If the FTA is for a criminal case, that case will show up. If the FTA is for a traffic ticket rather than a criminal case, then I don't believe so. That FTA would just amount to a civil assessment, not an arrest warrant ... & if no crim record, there would be nothing to show on a crim record check. If I'm wrong someone will correct me. ;) Good luck!
Of course. All arrests, charges, convictions and other criminal court actions do. So do all DMV enforcement actions, like suspensions and revocations. FTA's in particular are important info to courts when setting bail and assessing defendants.
Depends on who is doing the background check.
