Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Wrong Info on my criminal record

2 years ago, DAs filed felony charge and judge reduced it to misdemeanor for all purposes per california PC 17b5 and granted misdemeanor sentence to me. Recently, when my prospective employer did background verification, it came up as a felony conviction. I am sure it is a misdemeanor, i do not understand why it shows up as felony on my background.

Is there anything I can do about it? I mean, can I ask court or concerned agency (who?) to correct this record?

YOU MAYBE ABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH A COPY OF THE COURT RECORD. Give us a call if this doesn't solve the problem.

The records can be 'corrected' if necessary. If the court did not reduce felony to misdemeanor, then it can be reduced now to misdemeanor and ultimately expunged, as long as you served no felony prison time for it. If interested in getting this done, contact me.
