Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
hello, yesterday night i was smoking a cigarette on the side of a bagel place(i am 16 years old). two officers came up and asked me how old i was i said 18 they saw a bag in the bushs and they found 4 cans of beer which i had not even seen or touched. they charged me with a minor in possesion of alcohol and cigarettes. what is the probable outcome of this?

No one will believe you. For future reference, the only thing to say to police officers is nothing at all.
The outcome will depend upon what admissible evidence, defenses and arguments your attorney can make in plea bargaining, motions, or trial.
