Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California
Can I do anything if i feel harassed by my neighbor if race and class are involved? I received letter in the mail from an anonymous neighbor clearly being discriminating. Also, that same neighbor called the police on my husband and I. I feel harassed and victimized at this point.

Discrimination law protections apply only in employment and business, not personal relations. People have a 1st Amendment right to be as unpleasant as they like. No body said life was fair or that you had a right to friendly neighbors. IF you can show the harassment amounts to threats or violence, then you can file criminal charges with the police, or sue. Proof is your burden.
