Gender discrimination

If a teacher states to his/her class that all female soccar players are ''dykes'', does this constitute gender/sexual harrassment?

Re: Gender discrimination

Could be. IF you are a soccer player in that class, you can assume it referred to you. If it is a one-time occurrance, report it to administration in the form of a complaint of discrimination and demand appropriate remedy. If it is common, then it could be grounds for a legal action. If interested, contact me to discuss potential for action.

Re: Gender discrimination

First, it's untrue, and potentially slanderous. Second, it is an inappropriate comment, even if not harassing, that one can bring to the attention of the administrator.
