Both matters need to be set for a hearing before the appropriate court. If possible have both matters set in the same court on the same day. This will reduce the possibility of his being arrested on the second warrant when appearing on the first warrant. Hiring an attorney to make the arrangements would be beneficial to him. Also he should not drive until his gets his driver's license. This is especially true of court appearances.

He needs to everything discussed through an attorney, to avoid sitting in jail for an extended period twice. An attorney may be able to keep the penalties, fines, jail, classes, etc., down to the minimims that he would have gotten had they been properly handled in the beginning. It may be possible to get both It will cost him fines and costs to the courts. Contact me if interested in doing this right and avoiding unnecessary jail.
