Legal Question in DUI Law in California
This is my 1st time getting a DUID and I don't know what to do.
This past weekend I got a DUID. I've never been arrested or been in any kind of trouble with law in my life. I'm 28 and made a huge mistake and I don't know what to do. Please if theres anyone out there that can help or has some kind advice let me know. I would really appreciate it.

Plenty of people out here that can help. They're called lawyers. Feel free to contact one local to you.

Get an attorney who will plead not guilty and examine the police report to determine whether or not he could get it dropped. Contact me directly.

A first DUI is not the end of the world. But, you really should get a DUI lawyer, to finesse the process and minimize the damage. Also, your lawyer will be able to determine whether there are problems with the prosecution's case--no reasonable suspicion for the traffic stop, no probable cause for the arrest, problems with the evidence, etc. Sometimes, there are serious flaws in the prosecution's case which would not be apparent to a layperson.

You also must have your attorney request a DMV hearing, within ten days of the arrest, if you want to have any hope of not automatically losing your license. I have handled MANY DUI's with lots of success, and while past results are not necessarily indicative of what will happen with your case, I believe I would be able to represent you well.
Please call my office at your earliest convenience, should you wish to discuss this further.
