Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Can California "Strike" me on a case that was dismissed in 1984 "assult" when I was a kid? And they are also trying to ''strike'' me on a case in 1994 ''robbery'' that I did 18 months on already. I have never had a '' strike'' before. I made a stupid decision and drove drunk on 9/10/10 and got busted for DUI and vc 2800.2 this is my first DUI and I havent been in trouble since 1994 when I was arrested for the 211. I need all the help I can get because they are trying to strike me now. Please help!
