Can I be charged

I was arrested for intoxication in a public place but was never given any type of test to show any signs of intoxication can i be charged?

Of course. The officer's testimony is all that is required.

If you haven't already been charged and given a court date upon release from jail, then you may be sent a letter advising you when and where to appear in court. If you don't get the letter, then they may have decided not to pursue charges. If this is in SoCal and you want to hire counsel, contact me.
