Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Contesting DMV decision

I failed a breath test as a minor however was never charged in criminal court due to inadequacies in the arresting officer's report, however the DMV suspended my license for a year despite the fact that the paperwork they received concerning my failed test was not signed by the arresting officer and was submitted a week past the deadline any suggestions as to how I should pursue contesting this decision?

Re: Contesting DMV decision

Well, you had 10 days from the date of arrest to file 'appeal' with the DMV. If you did that, then you can have an attorney represent you at the hearing. If late, you could still file a request for 'late filing' and try to get a hearing. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting counsel for this, if the case is in SoCal.
