Legal Question in DUI Law in California

DUI - Felony or misdemeanor?

I recieved a DUI in 1997 in CA, and a drunk in public arrest in 1996. I fulfilled all obligations in a timely manner for the DUI, but never paid fine for drunk in public. Now I am applying for a teachers position in L.V., NV and must list felony charges on application. Are these offenses felonies? Must I list them? Thank You.

No, neither offense is a felony. You may still be on probation for the 1997 DUI conviction, though; usual probation term is three years. However, unless they ask you if you are on probation for any offense, or have ever been convicted of a felony, you do not need to list them.
