Legal Question in DUI Law in California

My friend was arrested 7 years ago for aDUI. He was on informal probation for three years. He now thinks that as long as his BAC is under .08, that he is safe. I think otherwise.Comments please

Your 'friend' has three more years to go before the prior DUI no longer counts as a prior. He still, as always, risks charges for driving 'under the influence' if he has been drinking, regardless of BA tested level.
