Legal Question in DUI Law in California
Location: California. First DUI was back in 2008, been convicted of that. Last year was ticketed for Driving with suspended license with a prior dui, haven't been convicted yet. Got another DUI after I got the driving with suspended license. What do you think the charges will be for both cases? Worried about the 2nd DUI because it was also when license was suspended. Also the vehicle was not insured.

The charges will be, driving on a suspended license, and 2nd offense DUI, and driving while uninsured. If you don't want to be convicted, do something about it.
I agree with the previous attorney. I do not not if they are both in the same court however and that could make a difference in regards to sentence. Talk to a qualified attorney in or near your area immediately to go over all the facts. I am available for FREE phone consults if you wish. David Wallin
I 'think' you face mandatorily enhanced penalties, including jail, for repeat DUI offense, plus jail for violation of probation on the first DUI, plus the penalties you face for the other misdemeanor charges. The court is going to 'think' you didn't learn your lesson the first time. If this is in SoCal, and if you're serious about getting legal counsel to help try to keep you out of jail, feel free to contact me.
