Misdomenor Hit and run DUI

My son is charged with Mis. Hit and run with DUI in Calif. He returned to the scene and turned himself in and was released in 3500.00 bail. What can we expect in court?

The misdemeanor can always be amended to be a felony if anyone was hurt. You son should find a attorney like me who is experienced in DUI to represent him.

My opinion is that you should not use a public defender, they are very busy, and your sons case may be overlooked. You do not want that, nor does your son. If you would like I can talk to you about this charge at your earliest convenience.

Maybe jail time, but with the help of an attorney this may be reduced or mitigated to cause as little damage to your son's future.
