It won't be easy, but it's not impossible either. Start with one state. If you get information to begin the process, go to the next state. Start by calling the local courts in the areas (jurisdictions) where he was cited/arrested for DUI. Then give the clerks the name and DOB and ask to check for warrants or open cases. Then GO to the courts, have the cases pulled and appear before the judge to enter a plea or face sentencing and pay whatever fines are imposed. If there are warrants out for arrest, they're just out there to get you into court. If you show up voluntarily in the courtroom with your case they won't put you in jail. They want you money. Go state by state, jurisdiction by jurisdiction. IN time, you'll have them all done and be back on the road causing trouble legitimately. Good Luck.

An attorney here in CA can represent him in the CA cases, and can obtain a list of all cases in other states through the prosecutors here. Then, he will have to get an attorney in each of those other states to make appearances on the charges.

You're right, this is going to be a costly mess, involving a lot of attorney fees, court fines, possible conflicting jail sentences and DUI classes, probation, license suspension, etc. But, if he doesn't deal with it now voluntarily, he will deal with it later involuntarily when he gets arrested and transported from court to court over a period of weeks or months in custody. He is going to have to plead stupidity and beg every court for mercy and coordination of the process and punishments. Have him contact me if he is interested in doing it right, now.
