Legal Question in DUI Law in California

probation removal

I had a dui over a year ago to which i plead ''no contest.'' i received 3 years of probation and can petition to get it removed (the probation) after 1 year. I need to have it removed for employment purposes. I have a court date coming up to try and get early termination on my probation. I am representing myself and need to know what the best approach is in order to get it removed as soon as possible. Thanks

You may be able to get probation shortened, but there is no 'expungement' of a DUI. It is on your record forever.
