Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Remove DUI record

I have 2 DUI misdemeanors. Both over 20 years ago. Can I get these taken off my record?

Re: Remove DUI record

Yes, misdemeanors can be expunged by the use of a legal form, and the guilty or no contest plea originally entered is replaced with a not guilty plea. After the approval of the petition, you still have to reveal the former conviction(s) to a state licensing agency, or when applying for certain government jobs. If you need assistance with this you may email me or call: (562) 929-7422. Attorney George W. Woodworth

A criminal record can be expunged, meaning that the conviction is set aside and dismissed. You would then be able to answer on most applications 'no' when asked if convicted. Your record would seem to qualify for expungement. Contact me if interested in doing so.
