Legal Question in Elder Law in California
My 82 yr old grandmother recently purchased a house with her son and his wife. My grandmother put all money down on purchase. My uncle recently booted my grandmother out of the house. He refuses to sell home or buy her out. He's basically drained her for nearly all she has. How can I help my grandmother get at least some of the money back?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Sounds like she has grounds to sue. You could help her do so, find an attorney, etc.
If she is 'not competent' to help herself [going senile, etc], then you could file for Conservatorship or Guardianship over her, and bring the lawsuit FOR her.
If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me. Ill be happy to help fight and get the best outcome possible.
