Legal Question in Elder Law in California

Answering a complaint on a civil suit

I need to respond to this complaint

ASAP, do I need to provide a

introduction first before my response

and if so what are some of the things

needed in the introduction, and do I

need codes for the responses to the

cause of action. I know I will need a

attorney at some point, but this

needs to be address ASAP

You don't need an attorney "at some point," you need one NOW. Never attempt to respond to a civil complaint by yourself. If you don't respond to the complaint within 30 days, or if your response is not in proper legal form, you'll lose.

There are many ways to respond to a complaint depending on the facts of the case and the legal situation. You may want to file a demurrer or other motion. Or you may want to file a general denial with affirmative defenses. You may be required to verify your response.
