conservertorship

my mother lives & has joint acct with my 85 yr old mother and he using her monies and says he's going to file for guardianship

what can i do to stop this

you can contest his appointment and ask the court to appoint you. tell the court he is stealing your mother's money.

File first. OR, prepare to dispute the Conservatorship or Guardianship Petition if and when it's filed. Or, call in the Public Guardian or a social worker with a complaint of elder abuse, if that is what is going on. Your problem is that any legal action is going to cost time and money.
