my father diagnoise with dementra in 08',i have power of attorney for both health & financial, in 09' he was coheret into getting married. Is my p.o.a's null and void now that he marriedor do i still have control.'thank you for your time ,terry

POA is valid until revoked or his death. The marriage complicates it, but does not cancel it. If you are saying he was incompetent and 'coerced' into marriage fraudulently, his relatives or you as POA holder might have grounds to seek annulment. You should consult with counsel familiar with Conservatorship and Guardian matters, who is local to his residence, since that is where any legal action would be brought. Call you local Lawyer Referral Service if you can't find one privately.
