forged dividend check
My sister forged my brothers name on a stock dividend check then put it in the bank. My brother is 75 and sister 73.
would this be under elder abuse

Yes. He could file criminal charges, or take civil action, if he can't resolve it privately.

It likely would be--you may want to start with a report to the police or Adult Protective Services.
