Legal Question in Elder Law in California
My grandfather married a much younger woman from China in a green card scam. He put her on the deed of the house. As of the past several months, my grandfather has become malnourished, the home infested with ants, buckets of urine left in his room which she or her two children-which she brought from China refuse to take out, basic general neglect of my grandfather, and used his credit card to buy a car, leaving my grandfather with no money to the phone bills. I desperately need to know how I can prove this woman 1 evidently married for a green card 2 is actively committing elder abuse and 3 how to get her off the deed so I can get her out of the home, which is owned 50% by my mother. Please, please help. Thank you so much

Report the elder abuse and neglect crimes to the Social Services Dept in your area, the police, and the Public Guardian. Ask for their help and guidance, then follow it. The family should at the same time file for a Conservatorship or Guardianship over him, as that is the only way you have of influencing the outcome and recovering the property and assets through a court order. If serious about pursuing that, feel free to contact me. .
