Legal Question in Elder Law in California
Suspected financial abuse
Is it possible to petition for
conservatorship for a person who
has dementia? My friend is being
exploited financially and is now
being over medicated to the point
where he can barely functioning.
One of the persons responsible for
this is his POA. What can I do
legally to assure his
protection,before it's too late?

Report it to the police and the Public Guardian, and consider filing Conservatorship if those fail.
