adult in hospital
if a friend is in the hospital that is a legal adult, can her mother step in and put restrictions on who can and cannot visit her. her mother gave her immancipation at the age of 16, she is now 22.

Generally if there is a limit on visits that is left to the invidivdual unless the that person is unable to make the decision. Then the decision is left to the next of kin. That would be mother, unless she is married.
