Cerificate of dissolution or Divorce decree
I was divorced in california. The proper paperwork was never filled out in order to obtain a divorce certificate. I need it to prove I am divorced or something that proves I am divorced. I know there is a form to send in t oget the decree but I cannot rewmember the name of the form. As of now no decree exists, although I am legally divorced. Help me get proof pleaseeeeee.

All you need is a copy of the dissolution judgment. That is the proof that you are divorced. If you know the county in which you were divorced, you need to go there and ask for a certified court copy of the judgment. The certified copy will have an original stamp of the court on it.
