Legal Question in Family Law in California
I had a child support case that was recently closed on 9/20/2010 in California. There was a suspension notice for my license that they never cancelled that went through on 9/23/2010. I was pulled over yesterday and my car was towed because of this. I am now stuck with 400 dollars in fees and a mark on my record. What can I do to make this right?

You need to have DMV's license suspension corrected, and contact the Department of Child Support Services that is handling the matter.
Once again Mr. Roach can't read, since you say the suspension cancellation went through on 9/23/10. As for what you can do to make this right depends on whether or not the suspension should have been lifted before you closed the case. If not, you've been driving on a suspended license for some time, which is a misdemeanor, and it taking three days to clear the suspension is not unreasonable. If you were paid current, and the suspension should have been lifted some time ago, you probably have a civil rights case, but it will be hard to prosecute since your damages are pretty small.
