Child support

Why is the district attourney allowed to get away with locking a father into outrageous child support amounts, add interest to the unpaid balance every month, eventhough tthey take half of my paycheck every month and they have been taking it for almost 4 years? How do I go about getting them to stop taking all of my income so pay an attorney to fight for custody of my kids? With them taking my money I can't afford a place to live or a car so I can get back and forth to work to keep my job. I'm paying arrears for a child that was born when I was 15 years old and I pay for my kids that I take care of everyday now. The child that was born when I was 15 is now 23 years old and not in school. The others I pay for their insurance, medical, dental, and vision. They have my credit so screwed up that I can't get a penny bubble gum on credit. Please help!

I would suggest that you talk to an attorney to help you get some relief. It is apparent that handling this by yourself has not worked to well for you. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
