Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was a cosigner on my ex husbands car. In our divorce agreement we both signed that we will be responsible for our own cars. I have my car that I just paid off. I found out a couple months after the separation that he had not been making his payments and the car company was looking for him. I had no contact with him. I sent them over the agreement with both of our signatures stating I am not responsible for his vehicle. Well now there is a car repossession on my credit report for his car. Is there anything I can do about this?

You could sue him for damages or request the court make remedial orders if there is any property left.
