How does a court determine if an adult child is incapacitated?

I presume you are asking for in regards to extended support obligations. I would imagine the deterimination is one that a court would make. You should file a motion in court ot determine that. Additional evidence by the party who is claiming the disabled child would need to be presented, most notably medical evidence.
