If I have not resided with my spouse in 4 1/2 years and have no children or financial issues, is there a quicker way to obtain a divorce?

Not in California. There is a mandatory 6 month waiting period between the date the petition and summons are served on the other spouse.If you were one of the few who qualify for the marriaged to be declared void then the marriage could be dissolved in a shorter time, 45 to 60 days being the minimum.
