My my husband take my kids away if I have no job? Also, I want to know if i choose to leave my husband what can i do legally to take my children with me.

Determination of custody is based on the psychological parent-child attachment and not on who has more money. If "leaving" means moving out of the house and staying in the area, it is best to get court orders to establish custody, visitation and support. If you plan to move out of the area, your best protection is to get court orders permitting the children's relocation.
