Leaving the county with child..

What are the legalities with leaving the county with your child if you are still married. Nothing has been started with the divorce yet. Would i jeperdize anything by leaving the father and taking the kid? Is it legal?

Depending upon the judge he would probably award custody to the father and you would get supervised visits. The custody award could be enforced through the Hague Convention. It is best to get a court order prior to leaving. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
