Legal Question in Family Law in California

I live in California and would like to move with my 4yr daughter to Arizona. I have full legal and physical custody, and at this time got a restraining order against her father good for 3yrs. There is no visitations set and I would like to know if I am free to be able to move?

The answer is probably yes. I would depend upon your current custody order. You should obtain written consent of the other parent or consent of the court to be safe. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

If you move without consent or court order, you risk that father will file a motion in court and get an order for the return of the child to San Diego, County. If you take father to court for an order to move, you will win.
